New applications are currently suspended due to problems with our server which is causing slow responses and at some brief times no response. I want to assure all current and future clients that we have not abandoned this project and are working hard to correct the problems at hand. At the same time we are getting ready to transition to a larger more powerful server, the details of the actual migration will be released as the day comes closer. We will also be moving to a new backend to help speed up the registration process at the same time.

Please do not re-register as we will approve the current requests in the queue as we get the issues resolved.

All current clients please login to your cPanel control panel and make sure that your contact email address is properly filled out so that we can keep you up to date on all changes.

We are now accepting application for new accounts. The following are a couple of tips to help speed up the acceptance process for you and us!

1. Fill out all fields
2. Create a unique username
3. Do NOT use the username in the password
4. Fill out the plan section with a reasonable plan so that we can make a reasonable decision. If you cant come up with 30 words how are you going to fill up a website??
5. Get ready to sit back and enjoy a free website.

Over the last few batches of signups that I have dealt with, I have noticed a certain inconsistency in both the description and use of grammar from aspiring applicants. Users should realise that the more convoluted a description we are provided with, the higher the chance of being accepted. Another turn off for administrators when sorting through applications is use of bad grammar and lack of full words (par example: “u” instead of “you”).

We read dozens of free web hosting applications every day and administrators want to create as many accounts as possible, but we are not able to if your application is simply substandard compared to others.

cPanel 11 stage 1 has been officially released and XMG has been one of the first to get the update. cPanel 11 features massive updates to almost every part of the control panel.

We’re currently migrating all XMG user to the new build. If you haven’t received the update on your account, feel free to post on our forums with your domain name.
